Well known reggaeton promoter, Rafael Pina Snows, was accused of domestic violence on Wednesday by his wife, Wanda Ivelisse Monge Rodriguez, for allegedly trying to strangle her and threaten her with a gun. He said, “he would blow her brains out,” because he was tired of her jealous antics. His wife started becoming jealous when she reportedly found a message from Pina Nieves’ ex-wife on his computer, at which she confronted him and asked if he was having an affair--Pina Nieves said yes. The alleged attack took place at 12:10 in the morning, in front of their two children, which would constitute a greater crime under Law 54 of domestic violence. The police were called by a neighbor who heard loud shouts coming from the couple’s residence in Humacao. Agent Edgardo Viera Maldonado, said that Pina Nieves’ wife said that he took her by the neck and tried to choke her in front of their two children. She also went on to say that he grabbed her neck and dragged her to the bathroom where he locked her in. She said he wouldn’t let her out until she apologized.
